I wanted to write you a small Christmas greeting today — a wish for calm, warmth, and time for the things that truly matter to you.

For me, this season is also a moment to pause and feel grateful.

Thank you for being part of The Art Trotter.

Thank you for your curiosity, your openness, and your love of art.

Thank you for the messages, the questions, the conversations — and for being part of a community that makes art feel a little more accessible, a little more alive, and a little more human.

I hope the holidays bring you moments that fill you up: peace, family, laughter, or maybe just a quiet moment with a cup of tea and a good book.

And perhaps you’ll even have an opportunity to discover something new in art — a detail, a colour, a story — that follows you into the New Year.

Below I have collected some art recommendations for this holiday season for you.

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a magical festive season 🎄✨

The Art Trotter

 PS.

✍️ I would like to start with a small art reflection for the holidays for you.

Think back to the art moments that moved you in 2025: What sparked your curiosity (exhibition, an artist, a building, a lecture)? What opened something in you? And, looking ahead, what do you wish exploring further in the year ahead (what is on your art bucket list for 2026)? It’s remarkable how such reflections can reveal direction and possibilities we might otherwise overlook.

🎬 If you’re in the mood for art inspiration between Christmas and New Year, I’ve collected a few wonderful art-related films (available on platforms such as Viaplay):

  • How to steal a million
  • Certified copy
  • Helene
  • Gauguin
  • Hilma
  • Sonja

And one more thing I wanted to share with you.

🖼 This autumn, when Amova and I began exploring the idea of miniature-format works, we had a feeling we were touching on something timely.

But how surprised we were when Artsy revealed a week ago that mini-format artworks had been one of the major art trends of 2025 — as more and more collectors are looking for accessible price point and more practical size to fit modern living!

Perfect timing for this winter’s release!

🎨 Amova, for whom I curated an exhibition in Monaco earlier this year in conjunction with Monte-Carlo Rolex Tennis Masters, has created a limited series of her signature works in miniature format — produced exclusively for our collaboration, and offered at an incredibly accessible price (250–300 EUR).

Each piece is crafted with her unique technique, combining canvas with unexpected materials — including transformed tennis balls — resulting in a texture and expression unlike anything else.

You can choose to have a single artwork or combine several pieces and your own colour palette in a set of paintings (like shown on the picture above).

You can explore the collection and see the available works by checking the catalogue on the button below.

To place your order, email your preferred work(s), colours and quantity to [email protected].

Amova ships worldwide.
