The Art Trotter seeks to provide an easy, safe, and surprise-free buying experience. Below you will find our full terms of purchase.

Copyright © accrues THE ART TROTTER and its respective partners. All rights are protected. It is strictly prohibited to copy, distribute, publish, or modify any material contained on THE ART TROTTER's web pages and portals.

Several of the works of art reproduced on the website, the course portal, and in the course are protected by copyright and reproduced in agreement with the artist/BONO (Visual Arts Copyright Norway). Works may not be reproduced without reference to law or permission from the licensee/BONO. If you want to use any artwork from the website or course site, you must contact BONO to obtain a license.

Terms of course site content use

Your purchase grants you access to course site content during the course period. THE ART TROTTER's products are protected by copyright. The product is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not use the product or materials available in the product in any way that violates our rights or in any way that has not been authorized by THE ART TROTTER. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, publish, upload, post, transmit, translate, sell, create derivative works, utilize or distribute in any way or medium (including email or other electronic means) any materials from the Product. Duplication, sharing, or uploading product files for sharing on websites is considered stealing and will be reported to the extent permitted by law.

However, you may download and/or print a single copy of certain pages of the Website for personal, non-commercial use, provided that all copyrights and other proprietary rights are retained.

THE ART TROTTER offers individual course programs. Upon registration, you will receive a username and password, and a membership profile for use during the course in the personal membership portal. If you wish to take the course together with a friend, colleague, or business partner, each individual must purchase the course individually. If you want an assistant or an entire group to take the course, individual memberships will have to be purchased for each participating member.

Guarantee

Any guarantees given in connection with the purchase of the product can only be used if the conditions for the guarantee is fulfilled and a written notice is given to us before the guarantee expires. If you wish to avail yourself of any agreed guarantees, we ask that you document that you have completed your part of the agreement. When using the guarantee, access to the course site and associated services is discontinued as a result of the refunded course amount.

Online Payment

We accept Visa and MasterCard through our partners Paypal, Kajabi, Stripe, Vipps. All transactions are encrypted via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and are 100% secure. Card purchases are free of charge. If agreed amounts/deductions are not authorized and payment is not made, the outstanding amount will be forwarded to invoicing and debt collection.

Partial-payment and installment plan

A purchase made with an installment plan, whether written or oral, is to be considered binding and must be paid in full by the deadline. If installments are not paid within the agreed time, the outstanding amount will be forwarded to invoicing and debt collection.

Sales to minors

If you are under 18, you must have permission from your guardian to purchase from us.

Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and must insist that you respect the privacy of others attending the course. Thus, this is a mutual agreement on confidentiality. We respect your confidential information and information you share during the courses. By purchasing this product you agree to respect the same rights of the course participants and representatives of THE ART TROTTER and employees of its partners.

You are free to discuss your personal results from our courses and assignments. However, all experience and statements, oral or written, from all other participants or the ART TROTTER team must be kept strictly confidential.

Right of cancellation for consumers

For courses advertised with a 14-day open purchase policy, the right of cancellation applies from the start date of the course. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us in an unambiguous manner before the cancellation period expires. We will give you a refund within 1 week from the day we receive your cancellation notice. Refunds will be made to  the same account the money was paid from. Other cancellation deadlines may apply if specified. If you do not give notice within the deadline, the right of cancellation will expire and money will not be refunded.

We note that the right of cancellation applies only to consumers, and not a person who mainly acts as part of a business activity. If you buy our courses/packages that are aimed at developing a business concept/marketing seed, we consider that you act as part of a business activity.

Right of cancellation for corporate customers: Courses, consultations and member services

Our membership services, courses and consultations sold to the corporate market do not have a cancellation period unless stated otherwise by the seller, or that information about the cancellation period is provided during the purchase process/on the purchase side. Any withdrawal period will only apply according to the conditions given on the purchase page or in the purchase process.

Security & Privacy

We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer), which means that all orders are encrypted, i.e. completely secure. THE ART TROTTER guarantees that we will never disclose your personal information or e-mail address to a third party, unless there are special reasons, e.g. that police, prosecutors or the like ask for information. You have the right to receive the information we have registered about you, and if you believe it is incorrect or irrelevant, you can request correction or removal from our customer register. If so, please contact customer service. 

Disclaimer

THE ART TROTTER and our affiliates disclaim all financial requirements associated with any of our websites, videos, newsletters, course portal or other content. We have done everything we can to ensure that the content is of high quality. By purchasing this course, you accept and agree that you are fully responsible for your progress and results from attending the course. We do not offer any guarantees about income or results. You alone are responsible for your actions, and your results depend on personal factors, including your skills, effort, knowledge, ability, commitment, network and financial situation, to name a few.

Cancellation and postponement

THE ART TROTTER reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course due to reasons beyond the control of THE ART TROTTER. By postponement of THE ART TROTTER's initiative, the course participant will be offered access to the course at a later date.

Limitation and liability

By purchasing this product, you agree that you use the company's services at your own risk and that the program is an information service. You release the company and its employees, its partners and partners' employees from liability for any damages that may arise and for any claims that may arise in connection with agreements between the parties. You accept any and all risks, predictable or unpredictable.

Not public blasphemy

In the event of a dispute between you and the company, you agree that the only venue for resolving such dispute shall be communication between you and the company. You agree that you will not engage in any conduct or communication with any third party, public or private, that will cause public defamation of the company.

The agreement

This agreement cannot be transferred by either party.

Termination

By purchasing this product, you agree that THE ART TROTTER may, in its sole discretion, terminate this agreement and limit, suspend or terminate the customer's participation in the program without reimbursement of the course fee, if the customer disrupts the Company or other course participants. This also applies if the terms are violated.

Dispute settlement

If the dispute is not resolved first by negotiations between the parties, a disagreement or dispute in connection with this agreement may be submitted to the Conciliation Court or the court.

Notices

Any notices of disagreement from one of the parties to the other may be delivered personally or by post, registered or certified with a receipt. The notice must be sent to the parties at the addresses listed below.

Force Majeure

If THE ART TROTTER or its affiliates is prevented from delivering or making a mandatory redelivery - or that the duty of delivery become unreasonably burdensome as a result of labor dispute or any other circumstance when the parties cannot control it, such as fire, war, mobilization or unforeseen military actions of similar scope, requisition, confiscation, currency restrictions, rebellion and riots, scarcity of means of transport, general scarcity of goods, restriction in the supply of power, and deficiencies or delays in deliveries from subcontractors or manufacturers as a result of such circumstances referred to in this paragraph; THE ART TROTTER is exempt from any liability other than in complaints cases where the ART TROTTER reimburses the purchase price of the defective goods.
