 Happy New Year!

I hope your first days of 2026 have been peaceful and inspiring.

Today, I’d love to share two paintings with you that reflect the spirit of the New Year — the festivities, excitement and aspirations.

Through colour and brushwork alone, Helen Frankenthaler, one of the major figures of the New York School and Abstract Expressionism, truly captured that feeling of renewal.

🥂 Take a look at The Party (1973). It bursts with rhythm and energy — the joy of stepping into a new year, the dinner table, the countdown and the sound of champagne glasses, the hugs, the kisses, and maybe a quiet wish as the clock strikes midnight.

🎆 Now, over to Fireworks (1983). It’s more contemplative, yet still full of life. The colours drift softly, like traces of light across the night sky.

Which one speaks to you the most?

The beginning of a new year always feels like a blank canvas, like a moment to pause and look back at what has been, and look ahead to what’s next.

Let us reflect on this through the lens of art.

👉 What were your most memorable art moments in 2025? Did you add a new work to your collection, go on an inspiring art trip, or perhaps visit an exhibition or meet an artist who left a lasting impression?

👉 And looking ahead — what are your art goals for 2026? Is it to see art in a particular museum or destination? Deepen your expertise? Or simply make more room for beauty in everyday life? What kind of support or guidance would help you get there?

PS. Did you know that one of the top five collector trends of 2025 was mini-format artworks? According to Artsy, collectors are increasingly drawn to pieces that are both affordable and easy to place in modern interiors.

🖼 This comes as especially exciting news for The Art Trotter and Amova, for whom we curated an exhibition in Monaco during the Monte-Carlo Rolex Tennis Masters last spring.

For this winter, Amova has launched a limited-edition series of miniature works inspired by her most iconic paintings. Each piece combines canvas with an unexpected and technically intricate use of reworked tennis balls, giving the artworks a distinctive sculptural texture, remarkably light weight, and a minimalist aesthetic.

With prices starting at €300 per piece (or €250 each when ordering two or more), collectors are invited to take part in the creative process by composing their own set of colours and combinations.

Despite being early in her career, Amova has already exhibited in conjunction with the US Open and the Madrid Open, and has collaborated with brands such as Adidas and Palais des Thés. With this project, we wanted to make her art both affordable and accessible for almost any collector. The series is limited, and each work is unique and made to order.

Explore the collection and place your order via the catalogue below. There is a possibility to customise your colors, and works are shipped worldwide.

To order, simply email [email protected] with your preferred pieces, quantity and color palette.
